Fresça is hiring Team Members for our new Sherway Gardens location, opening soon! We're looking for energetic, guest-focused people to craft our handmade açaí bowls, smoothies, and chia puddings while delivering fast, friendly service. Full time and part-time positions available, starting September 26, 2026. No experience required — just a positive attitude and a passion for fresh food.

Duties
Prepare fresh, quality food items following established recipes and safety standards
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare açaí bowls, smoothies, chia puddings, and beverages to Fresça recipe and presentation standards
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety regulations
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely food preparation and service




Assist in food handling procedures to uphold health standards and ensure safe food practices

Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant service is preferred but not required; a passion for food industry work is a plus!
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar technology for productive transactions
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately during peak hours
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
Ability to work well in a team environment within a fast-paced restaurant setting
Kitchen experience or prior food industry work will be considered an asset; serving or cashiering experience is also valued
