Covet Sips + Sweets is looking for an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to lead our Cochrane location.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, knows how to lead a team, and isn’t afraid to jump in and work alongside them. Our stores are busy, fast-paced and highly team-oriented, so we need a manager who can keep things organized, set clear expectations and create a positive environment for both our staff and customers.

This is a working manager position. Our Store Managers don’t manage from an office — you’ll spend a significant portion of your shifts working alongside the team as a barista, serving customers and keeping the store running smoothly while also coaching and leading your staff.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Leading, coaching and supporting the Cochrane team
- Working regular barista/customer-service shifts alongside staff
- Setting the standard for excellent customer service
- Making sure the store is clean, organized, stocked and ready for service
- Maintaining Covet’s standards for drink quality, presentation and customer experience
- Training and onboarding new employees
- Providing ongoing feedback and coaching to staff
- Managing day-to-day staffing and helping ensure shifts are appropriately covered
- Handling customer concerns professionally and confidently
- Managing inventory, ordering and store supplies
- Helping identify and solve operational issues before they become bigger problems
- Communicating regularly with Covet’s General Manager and ownership team
- Creating a positive, accountable workplace where employees know what is expected of them

Who we’re looking for You might be a great fit if you:




- Have previous management or supervisory experience — preferably in hospitality, food service, retail or another fast-paced customer-facing environment
- Are comfortable giving direction, feedback and holding people accountable
- Lead by example rather than simply delegating
- Are dependable, organized and proactive
- Have strong communication and people skills
- Stay calm and make positive decisions when things get busy
- Notice the details — cleanliness, presentation and consistency matter to you
- Enjoy creating a fun, positive workplace while still maintaining high standards
- Are comfortable working with a younger team and helping employees develop confidence and strong work habits
- Have open availability, including the ability to work a combination of weekdays, weekends, mornings and evenings as required

Hours: Approximately 30–40 hours per week
