Company Description Minogi is a First Nation business dedicated to advancing the Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation’s economic, environmental, and treaty rights interests through strategic investments and partnerships. Rooted in the principle of “Grow Well,” Minogi leads clean energy and infrastructure development projects across Ontario, actively participating in major procurements with the Independent Electricity System Operator. The organization focuses on economic reconciliation by ensuring First Nation investment and meaningful participation in key sectors of provincial economic growth.

Minogi is also building internal capacity by developing a team of consulting specialists in planning, ecology, regulation, and investment, strengthening direct connections between leadership and the community. This approach reduces reliance on external consultants and supports informed, community-centered investment decisions.

Role Description The Strategic Commercial Partnerships Coordinator is a full-time hybrid role based in Scugog, ON, with flexibility for work from home. This role is responsible for supporting the identification, development, and management of strategic commercial partnerships, particularly in clean energy and infrastructure sectors. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating partner outreach, preparing proposals and partnership materials, tracking commercial opportunities, and maintaining up-to-date records in relevant systems.

The coordinator will assist in project management activities, such as organizing meetings,



documenting decisions, monitoring timelines, and ensuring follow-up on action items. The role also involves collaborating with internal specialists and leadership to align partnership opportunities with Minogi’s investment priorities, treaty rights considerations, and community interests. Qualifications

Demonstrated skills in Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships, with experience supporting or managing collaborative commercial relationships.

Solid Communication skills, including clear written communication, professional correspondence, and the ability to present information to diverse audiences.

Solid Project Management abilities, such as organizing tasks, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking progress on partnership initiatives.

Foundational Sales skills, including opportunity identification, relationship-building, and supporting negotiations or commercial discussions.

Post-secondary education in business, commerce, economics, public administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of clean energy, infrastructure, or Indigenous economic development is an asset.

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Scugog, ON, with strong time management and self-organization skills.

Respect for and understanding of First Nation rights, reconciliation, and community-focused decision-making; prior experience working with Indigenous communities is considered an advantage.
