Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer in Training, focusing on the assessment and rehabilitation of building mechanical systems. This hybrid role offers fieldwork combined with expert office analysis, fostering qualified growth.
In this position, you will collaborate with senior engineers on impactful projects involving mechanical systems. Your responsibilities will include site investigations, plumbing evaluations, and preparation of detailed reports that guide upgrades and repairs. Enhance your skills while working on multidisciplinary retrofit projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of existing mechanical systems
• Evaluate and recommend repairs to plumbing and HVAC systems
• Prepare technical documentation and proposals
• Support team efforts on deep energy retrofits
• Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum two years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
• EIT registration with EGBC or similar association
• Required plumbing systems experience
• HVAC system exposure is advantageous
