Company Description Queens General Hospital, located in Liverpool, first opened in 1949 and underwent a $16-million modernization in 2014 , which included the development of a collaborative health-care centre. The project was supported by the QGH Foundation, the Keeping Us Solid community campaign, Queens Municipality, and the Province of Nova Scotia.
QGH is a 22-bed acute care community hospital providing inpatient, outpatient, and community-based care. Key programs include an asthma clinic, diabetes education, dialysis (satellite of the QEII), family medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and psychiatry .

Job Description TheEmergency Department is a level 3 centre and is open 24 hours with shifts from 8am - 6pm and 6pm to 8am.
Queens is seeking Physicians to provide Locum coverage during a period of active recruitment.
Compensation is provided by the service, and locum physicians are eligible to access the travel elements of the program, including reimbursement for kilometrage, per diems, accommodations (up to $300 per night), and airfare (up to $1,500), along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered.

College of Family Physicians of Canada ER certification and currentATLS Certification considered an asset.
