Overview
Elite Logix Inc, a third party logistics provider based out of Burlington, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience to work in our Interstate division.

Responsibilities

Oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations to ensure smooth operations across channels and maximum efficiency.

Collaborate with the team to improve customer and carrier experience; manage all duties listed below.

Negotiate freight rates with carriers for TL and LTL.

Source carriers.

Respond to spot quotes and customer requests within the expected timeline.

Assist with after-hours issue resolution on a rotating basis.

Grow and maintain existing and new carrier and customer relationships.

Understand and utilize RMIS, Carrier 411, Trucker Tool to full potential.

Perform work with urgency and attention to detail.

Collaborate with coworkers to provide solutions to customers.





Organize and manage email inbox to ensure visibility of appropriate emails for coworkers.

Demonstrate effective communication skills.

Improve win percentage on a daily basis.

Identify areas of weakness and problem-solve with the team to correct.

Knowledge of Load Link, RMIS, UFOS, PC Miler, Trucker Tool, and DAT.

Present current ideas and implement them for Elite's maximum profitability.

Must have reliable transportation to work. Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Education: DCS / DEC (preferred)

Experience: Logistics: 2 years (required); Interstate: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In-person experience for Logistics Specialist.
