Fiber & Biomass Procurement Specialist (REMOTE, CANADA) Ecostrat – a leader in the biomass supply chain sector – is recruiting for a Fiber and Biomass Procurement Specialist for its Advisory Group. The role is full‑time, remote (Canada), and offers a salary of $80,000–$100,000 per year plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities - Conduct professional phone and email outreach to industry stakeholders to gather market and operational data, including suppliers, government agencies, local experts, and transportation companies.
Collect, verify, and organize information on biomass and organic feedstock supply, demand, and processing capacity.
Engage with forestry, composting, and anaerobic digestion facilities to understand feedstock flows, prices, procurement practice and competition.
Work closely with project managers and analysts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data collected.
Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure competitive supply options and risk diversification.

Qualifications - Minimum 3‑years experience in forestry, wood products, composting, or anaerobic digestion industries.




Knowledge of biomass feedstock supply chains and procurement of feedstock for energy or materials use.
Professional phone manner with high comfort level with cold outreach and ability to communicate with all types of people from government to site staff.
Robust verbal and written communication skills in English (native speaker level). Bonus points for bilingual candidates.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and data organization.
Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
Robust team contributor and desire to do well for yourself (intrinsic) and others (extrinsic).
