Join AgeCare Shawnee as a Health Care Aide, providing essential support to residents in Calgary. This part time evening role includes personal care and assistance with daily living tasks. As a Health Care Aide, you will be part of a dedicated team delivering compassionate care under the guidance of a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Your responsibilities will involve assisting residents with hygiene, mobility, and feeding during their meal times. You’ll also help residents participate in social activities and therapy functions, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene
Transfer residents using mechanical lifts and transfer belts
Aid in feeding and meal supervision
Implement care plans for specific dietary needs
Support residents with mobility around the facility Requirements:
One year of experience in a care setting preferred
Valid Personal Care Aide Certificate or equivalent
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Active registration with CLHA
