Are you a student with a strong interest in law and looking to gain real-world experience in a legal workplace FWCanada, a Canadian immigration law firm based inMontreal, is currently seeking interns to join our team this FALL 2026 semester, with the opportunity to continue through the WINTER 2027 semester.
This is a unique chance to contribute meaningfully to client files, learn about Canadian immigration procedures, and gain exposure to a fast-paced, non-traditional law firm setting.

Key Responsibilities
Legal Support
- Assist lawyers and paralegals with legal research, document preparation, and case file management
- Draft supporting documents for immigration applications and compile submissions to government authorities
- Help maintain organized and up-to-date client files
Client Engagement
- Participate in client intake by phone and email
- Help pre-qualify prospective clients based on their eligibility under Canadian immigration law
- Liaise with clients to gather documentation and clarify application requirements
- Communicate updates to clients under supervision of legal staff
Qualifications
- Open to students from any academic background with a strong interest in law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Professional phone manner and confidence interacting with clients
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Interest in Canadian immigration law is an asset
Internship Details
- Unpaid internship (may be eligible for academic credit)
- 2-3 weekdays per week (Montreal office)
- Immediate start, with potential to continue into future semesters
- May lead to a paid position based on performance and business needs
