Certification:

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Employment:

- Successful Background check
- Completed Physical, TB and drug screen

Essential Job Functions:

- Bending, twisting and lifting up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work effectively, cooperatively, and respectfully with staff, students, etc. regardless of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnic/national origin, religion, marital status, age, socio-economic status or disability
- May assist in setting up serving area
- May assist in food preparation
- May assist in cleaning, storage, etc.
- May assist in washing dishes and/or other equipment
- Clean lunch tables after use
- Other duties as assigned

A substitute food service worker is responsible for filling in for the absence of a regular employee.
