TheNamgis First Nation is hiring a community-focused physician to enhance health services in Alert Bay. This role involves ER coverage and ongoing patient care within a collaborative health team. As a member of the Namgis Health Centre, the physician will provide comprehensive medical care in a supportive team setting.

Responsibilities include managing patient health needs both in the clinic and hospital, allowing for a agile and impactful work experience. Candidates will work together with a variety of health specialists to improve community health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver emergency and inpatient care effectively
Ensure long-term health management of patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Engage with visiting specialists to optimize patient care
Participate actively in community health initiatives Requirements:
Valid licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) mandatory
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) preferred
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
