Overview The Summer Supply position offers an exciting opportunity to support child care programs during the summer months. Duties

- Assist classroom teachers with daily activities and lesson preparations
- Support children during instructional activities, including those with disabilities or special needs
- Help organize educational materials and supplies for summer programs
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning activities, including math and early childhood education exercises
- Supervise children during recess, lunch, and other break times to ensure safety and positive behavior




- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to foster a supportive learning environment
- Implement classroom routines and assist with behavioral management strategies
- Support inclusive education practices by working closely with students requiring additional assistance

Skills

- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
- Classroom experience or background in early childhood education preferred
- Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, teachers, and parents
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs
- Familiarity with math instruction at early childhood or elementary levels
- Passion for supporting children's development and fostering an inclusive learning workplace

Pay: $19.60 per hour
