This role supports various business units in a not-for-profit workplace, promoting health for Canadians. In collaboration with the Associate General Counsel, you will provide timely, business-oriented legal advice and manage contracts, compliance, and enterprise initiatives at GreenShield.

Your expertise will facilitate strategic business objectives while identifying and mitigating legal risks across a diverse range of sectors. This position primarily focuses on drafting agreements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance regulatory compliance and support product development. Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice on corporate and regulatory matters




Draft and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
Support contract lifecycle from onboarding to renewals
Identify legal risks and propose solutions
Collaborate with IT, privacy, and other teams for compliance

Requirements:
1 to 5 years of relevant post-call experience
Proven ability to draft and negotiate commercial agreements
Familiarity with health and insurance law is an asset
Superior communication skills for non-legal stakeholders
Solid organizational skills and ability to handle high volume
