Overview

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages for our customers. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced workplace, we would love to hear from you. Saturday availability is a must!

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as necessary
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise

Skills
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing




Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Strong time management skills to ensure effective workflow
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
Prior experience in the food service or food industry is preferred

-Ability to lift up to 45 Lb
Familiarity with food handling procedures is a plus
