Description

Home Child Care Provider (Permanent employment). Full time, 30 to 40 hours per week.

Location: East York, ON.

Work: On site, no remote option. Work site environment is non-smoking and scent free. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live‑in basis (not a condition of employment). Public transportation is available.

Job responsibilities include supervising and caring for children, assuming full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, bathing and dressing children, disciplining children according to methods requested by the parents, instructing children in personal hygiene and social development, maintaining a secure and healthy environment in the home, organizing activities such as games and outings for children, preparing and serving nutritious meals, preparing children for rest periods,



and tending to the emotional well‑being of children.

Job Requirements

- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
- Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
- Personal suitability: Client focus, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability, time management.
