As a Swim Instructor, you’ll spend your days doing work that truly matters — teaching kids how to swim, stay safe, and love the water. It’s active, adventurous, fun, and incredibly rewarding.

? Need to Know

Job Type: Part-Time

Availability Requirement:

Applicants must be available to work during Fall: Mondays and/or Wednesdays (preferred) 4pm-7pm

Priority will be given to candidates who can work multiple days

Locations:

- Fitness 2000 Athletic Club – 9304 Salish Court, Burnaby
- Greentree Village – 4295 Garden Grove Drive, Burnaby

Hours: Monday – Sunday | 5–40 hours per week

Pay:

$21.00–$26.00 per hour

- SWI – Swim Instructor
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C

- NL Pool – National Lifeguard (Pool Option)




- LSI – Lifesaving Instructor
- *Additional certifications are an asset and may result in a higher starting wage

? What to Expect in the Hiring Process

Virtual Prescreen A 30-minute virtual or in-person conversation with our regional hiring team to learn more about Pedalheads, the role, and to answer any questions you may have.

In-Person Interview (In-Pool Teaching Simulation)

A 45-minute interview at the pool location so you can see where you’ll be teaching and meet the team.
