About the Role

We are currently hiring for the position of part time weekend Switchboard Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Answering incoming calls promptly and courteously while upholding Langdon Hall’s service standards
- Reviewing upcoming reservations and generating a daily arrivals
- Providing callers and guests with accurate information about our services, facilities, and events
- Directing calls, messages, and inquiries to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Monitoring voicemail and ensuring timely follow-up
- Supporting clear communication between departments and relaying urgent messages when needed
- Assisting the front desk and guest services team with occasional administrative tasks
- Maintaining a tidy and skilled workspace while contributing to a positive team environment

- Demonstrates a warm, professional, and service-focused approach
- Has demonstrated an exceptional attendance record
- Communicates clearly and respectfully with guests and colleagues
- Has proficiency in hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Is adaptable and able to assist with multiple tasks during busy times
- Values teamwork, professionalism, and a high level of care in every interaction
- Is available to work weekends and holidays

Pay & Schedule

- Wage: $20.00 per hour
- Schedule: TBD; Weekend hours will be required
