About the job

This role reports to the Finance Manager and is part of a small two-person team (Finance Manager and Accounting Clerk). It is non-supervisory with no mentorship responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

The team currently uses Microsoft Dynamics Excellent Plains, and candidates should have intermediate Excel proficiency. It supports month-end and year-end close processes but does not include payroll or expense reporting.

Candidate Requirements

A diploma or degree in accounting is required. CPA designation or progress toward CPA is an asset. Prior industry experience is not mandatory.

Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Outstanding Plains or similar ERP systems
such as Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP Business One, Acumatica, Epicor Kinetic, Infor CloudSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage 300 (Formerly Accpac), Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Lives within a reasonable commuting distance

Solid technical capability with Excel (Advance proficiency)
Creating and modifying Pivot Tables, Grouping and filtering data, Summarizing large datasets, Creating Pivot Charts for reporting

Advanced Formulas & Functions

Data Analysis & Data Management
Sorting and filtering, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation (drop‑down lists), Remove Duplicates and Text to Columns, Basic What-If Analysis

Excel Automation
Creating and recording Macros, Basic VBA knowledge (if required for the role)
Using Power Query to import and transform data, Basic Power Pivot (for advanced roles),
