Medcan is actively seeking a skilled Dermatology Nurse, either RN or RPN, to strengthen our nursing team. This role demands a dedicated, organized individual with a passion for both medical and cosmetic dermatology. You will work closely with dermatologists, assisting in procedures while ensuring high standards in patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist dermatologists with biopsies and medical procedures
• Perform essential post-procedure wound care
• Prioritize client comfort and safety during treatments
• Educate patients regarding their post-procedure care
• Document clinical information and handle inquiries
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in positive standing
• Experience in dermatology is an asset
• Current CPR/BCLS certification required
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in MS Outlook and Word
