Join Fraser Health as a Full time Rehabilitation Assistant at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. This role focuses on enhancing patient recovery through direct Nursing, Occupational, and Physiotherapy support.
The position of Rehabilitation Assistant involves working under the guidance of Registered Nurses and Therapists to implement tailored treatment plans for patients until approximately May 2027. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility exercises, and monitor patient progress while documenting changes. This role requires effective communication and the ability to operate therapeutic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement rehabilitative treatment plans based on PT/OT assignments
• Assist nursing with mobility tasks as directed




• Document patient cognitive and functional progress accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for treatment evaluation
• Maintain and manage therapy equipment and supplies
Requirements:
• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Physical capability to perform position duties
• Organizational skills for effective work management
• Ability to operate relevant therapeutic equipment
