The Opportunity

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us on a 6-12 month contract and help us find great people to fuel our next chapter. Role Overview

At WPCL, our HR mandate is simple: Build a great team, create a great workplace, and help Wedlock continue delivering the quality, reliability, and innovation our customers have trusted for generations. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for helping us find the talented people behind the packaging. You'll play a key role in attracting, hiring, and onboarding the team members who keep Wedlock running strong.

What You'll Do

- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trades, and salaried positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and fill roles quickly and effectively.
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates using behavioural-based interviewing techniques.
- Build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate interviews, offers, and onboarding activities.
- Maintain recruitment metrics and candidate records.




- Ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Experience

- College diploma or university degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proven experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, recruitment platforms, and behavioural-based interviewing techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet recruitment deadlines.

Salary Range

Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience. Expected range: $60,000 - $70,000 annualized.

The above reflects an industry-benchmarked target compensation range. The salary offered may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, and other specific business needs.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
