Assignment:

- Full-time 1.0 probationary teaching position.

- Courseload to include

- Grade 5 general instruction, and Physical Education and Art

- Creation and Implementation of IPP's, LSP's, and behaviour plans

- Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications:

- Experience working in a grade level and courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Collaborative assessment and analysis of student data

- Development and implementation of effective literacy and numeracy interventions

- Working as a part of a collaborative grade 5 team

- Develop of individual student program plans

- Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate versatile thinking, creativity, innovation, and evidence of collaboration

- Familiarity with Daily 5 and LLI

- Assessment literate

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of specific and individual needs

- Effective classroom management

- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
