Job Title: Team Lead – Developmental Services

Headquarters: 67 Industrial Drive, Almonte, Ontario

We’re looking for a Team Lead to join our Developmental Services team. Reporting to the Associate Director, this role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading teams within our group home setting ensuring our people supported are living their most fulfilling lives.

What You’ll Do Leadership & Team Development

- Lead, coach, and mentor staff to support high-quality service delivery.
- Foster a collaborative, respectful, and supportive team environment.
- Guide staff in implementing person-centered plans for individuals supported.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching, development, and training.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new employees and students.
- Participate in performance management, progressive discipline, and grievance processes when required.
- Act as a positive role model, demonstrating professionalism and respect in all interactions

Client Focused Support

- Attending planning sessions,



initiating contact and/or responding to queries from parents/members of the support network regarding personal plans.
- Monitoring and ensuring completion of required documentation including Protocols, Behavioural Support Plans, Person Centered Reviews, Consents, and more.
- Demonstrating and ensuring others demonstrate a respectful relationship with each person supported, recognizing their rights as a citizen and promoting their dignity and well-being.

Compliance & Financial

- Following QAM and Serious Occurrence mandates as required by Ministry and Provincial Standards.
- Collaborating with management to review quarterly site budgets and work towards ensuring the allocated budget is balanced.
- Verifying timesheets, petty cash and staff travel requests, invoices, receipts, and other statements of accounts payable or receivable.

Operations & Program Oversight

- Oversee daily operations of residential sites and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Ensure medication regimes are properly followed.
- Monitor household operations and responsibilities at each site.
- Investigate incidents and ensure appropriate reporting, including serious occurrences.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency situations.

What You Bring

- Developmental Services Worker Program or relevant degree or diploma in human services.
- Minimum of five (5) years of practical work experience.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities including dual diagnosis.
- Understanding of Person-centered planning, tools, and management.
- Understanding of various diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Ability to build trusting relationships,



effectively challenge and inspire team members to work together cohesively as a team.
- Strong oral and written communication and active listening skills.
- Strong planning and execution skills.
- Ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts and make decisions with a high degree of professionalism.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and proof of insurance and access to a vehicle.
- A Clear Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector.

This job posting is for an existing vacancy. Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
