About Midtown Golf
Midtown Golf is Oakville's premium indoor golf simulator facility, featuring state-of-the-art TrackMan bays, a full lounge, billiards, and private event space. Since opening in 2023, we've built a loyal member base and a reputation for delivering a best-in-class golf and social experience year-round. As we head into our busy fall and winter season, we're looking for energetic, reliable team members to help us deliver that experience every single day.
The Role
As a Team Member at Midtown Golf, you'll be the face of the facility - greeting members and guests, running the simulator bays, keeping the space looking sharp, and helping create the welcoming, high-energy atmosphere Midtown Golf is known for. This is a great fit for someone who loves golf, enjoys working with people, and wants to be part of a growing local business through our peak season.
What You'll Do
- Welcome members and guests, check them in, and get them set up on TrackMan bays
- Provide basic instruction on simulator technology and troubleshoot minor technical issues
- Take food, drink, and bar orders and provide friendly, attentive lounge service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bays, lounge, billiards area, and event space
- Support league nights, tournaments, and private events (setup, hosting, teardown)
- Handle point-of-sale transactions, bookings, and member inquiries
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Uphold Midtown Golf's standards for guest experience, safety, and facility presentation
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as scheduled
What We're Looking For
- Genuine interest in golf; playing experience is an asset but not required
- Outgoing, personable, and comfortable engaging with members and guests
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hospitality-style environment
- Basic comfort with technology (POS systems, simulator software) - training provided
- Smart Serve certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
- Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service is a plus
- Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Details
- Term: September through May (seasonal)
- Schedule: Flexible; includes daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
- Compensation: Competitive hourly wage
