Body Shop Estimator

Whitby Toyota is seeking an experienced and motivated Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair estimating, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
Assess and document vehicle damage, utilizing industry-standard estimating software (Mitchell, Audatex, etc.)
Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates, including parts, labour, and materials costs
Collaborate with insurance adjusters to negotiate claim settlements
Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates and addressing concerns
Source and order necessary repair parts
Monitor repair progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards

Qualifications




Proven experience as a Body Shop Estimator
Strong understanding of automotive repair techniques and industry best practices
Experience in automotive estimating software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's licence
