Serve clients in community settings as a part time Direct Support Facilitator at Community Living Hamilton. Provide vital support through social and recreational activities for successful client engagement.
This position is temporary, lasting approximately 12 months. The preferred candidate will have a DSW, SSW, or related degree, coupled with two years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities or other challenges. Building rapport with clients while ensuring their safety and well-being is key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver social and recreational activities to clients
• Develop Individual Support Plans to enhance skills
• Build effective relationships based on respect and inclusion




• Ensure safety and wellness of clients in group settings
• Communicate effectively to support clients’ goals
Requirements:
• DSW, SSW, or related social sciences degree
• Two years of experience with diverse client groups
• Valid NVCI and First Aid/CPR certification
• Solid problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
