Key Responsibilities:
• Craft engaging, hyper-local stories for community portals
• Write clear and conversational radio scripts
• Pitch daily story ideas to enhance coverage
• Chase leads through various channels including social media
• Participate in weekend on-call schedule as needed
Requirements:
• Robust writing and editing skills for digital and broadcast
• Familiarity with the CP Style Guide
• Journalism or Digital Media diploma or related experience
• Experience with newsroom software (Burli preferred)
• Valid driver’s license required
