This is a full time remote role for a Licensed Elevator Mechanic at KLP Elevators and Lifts located in North Bay, ON. The Licensed Elevator Mechanic will be responsible for performing elevator maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and ensuring the proper functioning of elevators and lifts. The scope of work also includes performing elevator and lift modernizations, and installations.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair elevators and lifts, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on elevator and lift systems. Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records manually and digitally using company provided software Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in elevator technology.



Cover the on-call on occasion when necessary Be agreeable to travel for work to surrounding areas when necessary
Qualifications
Valid EDMA license with associated skills completed in apprenticeship skills passport. Troubleshooting knowledge Maintenance & Repair experience Modernization & Installation experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving abilities Robust attention to detail Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment
