Job Description

Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)

Licensed Millwright to join Sofina Foods’ Maintenance department on the night shift.

Responsibilities

- Teardown and setup production equipment as needed, including completing changeovers as per production schedule.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise.
- Provide support to maintenance staff such as Electricians and Power Engineers.
- Perform regular maintenance routines without direct supervision and advise the Production or Maintenance Manager of any issues that could impact production.
- Act as an advisor to Machine Operators for non‑mechanical issues.
- Complete Preventative and Predictive Maintenance tasks as per the company’s extensive PM Program.

Qualifications

- Must have a 433A license.
- Experience with fabrication.
- Experience in installation and repair of machines and equipment is an asset.
- Experience in stainless steel fabrications and repair is an asset.
- Competent communication skills,



both oral and written.
- Ability to work after‑hours tasks with minimal supervision.

Regular Hours of Work

- Night shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM)

Compensation

- Licensed: $42.55 per hour
