The Golden Hills School Division invites applications for a 0.5 FTE temporary High School Options Teacher (Online/Teacher-Directed) with the possibility of home education and other classes based on the interests and background of the successful candidate at the NorthStar Academy, for Semester 1 running September 1st, 2026 to January 22, 2027.

NSA is an alternate status Grade 1-12 online and home education school, focusing on the growth of Christian faith in students and staff. Please provide a brief description of how your training and background has prepared you to teach your students in this Christian education context.

The successful candidate will demonstrate robust 21 st century teaching skills including learning design that ensures high student engagement, critical thinking skills, inquiry, and the use of technology as a learning tool.
