Role Description The successful candidate will maintain primary responsibility for their own files and schedule while benefiting from the firm's infrastructure, referrals, and collegial support. The practice may include: Incorporations and corporate organization; Drafting shareholder agreements; Assisting with corporate maintenance and minute books; Preparing commercial contracts; Assisting with asset and share purchase transactions, business acquisitions and sales, commercial leasing; and Assisting with general corporate and commercial advisory work.



Qualifications Member in valuable standing with the Law Society of British Columbia JD degree from a Canadian university 3-5 years of similar experience in corporate and commercial law Ability to independently manage files from start to finish Strong drafting and client management skills Entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to client service Existing client base is an asset but not required Compensation This is an independent contractor position. Compensation will be based on a percentage split that allows the successful candidate to maintain significant autonomy while leveraging the firm's infrastructure, branding, and referral network.
