We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to support our Controller in managing financial reporting and accounting duties. This position requires at least three years of accounting experience, particularly in multi-entity environments. You'll be responsible for monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and compliance with government filings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records in the General Ledger
• Prepare management reports and financial statements monthly
• Conduct bank reconciliations and intercompany transaction reviews




• Oversee accounts payable and ensure payment processing
• Coordinate year-end audit preparations with Deloitte
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Robust understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations
• Proficient in Excel; Sage experience is a plus
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Bilingual in French and English for cross-Canada collaboration
