Duties
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires efficiently and accurately using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires and wheels to identify damage or wear that requires attention.
- Perform wheel alignments and perform routine maintenance on tire-related components.
- Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance procedures, and answering questions to enhance their experience.
- Heavy lifting of tires and wheels safely to ensure proper installation and removal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Keep detailed records of services performed and communicate findings clearly to customers and team members.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive systems related to tires and wheels.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for tire service.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during tire installation or removal.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures is a plus.
- Basic sales skills to recommend appropriate products or services when needed.
