Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Room Educator to create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children in our care. Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration
- Support children in developing essential social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and communication
- Monitor and document each child's developmental progress, noting milestones and areas needing additional support
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages independence and curiosity
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's daily experiences and developmental updates
- Collaborate with team members to plan activities that incorporate bilingual elements (English and French) when applicable




- Assist children with daily routines including feeding, diapering, dressing, and rest periods

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with young children in a childcare or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific teaching strategies for toddlers
- Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse learner needs
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation efficiently
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
- Formal training or certification in early childhood education or childcare is required; additional experience in special education is a plus

Pay: $15.20-$18.50 per hour
