About the Role

Are you an experienced IT Support Specialist who thrives in fast-paced financial environments? We are seeking an ambitious Trade Floor Support Specialist to provide critical technical support for traders and front-office operations during the night shift.

This role operates under a Hybrid setup . While day-to-day operations can be executed remotely, physical presence at our Montreal office is required whenever physical hardware maintenance or emergency dispatch is necessary.

You will collaborate directly with SOC , NOC , GSS , Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity teams to manage incidents, support core market data platforms, and ensure uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide dedicated front-line technical support to traders and front-office users during overnight hours.
- Support and troubleshoot Windows, Linux, desktops, laptops, thin clients, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain trading applications and market data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters/LSEG, OMS/EMS).




- Monitor critical systems and coordinate incident escalation with SOC, NOC, and GSS teams.
- Participate in major incident response and crisis management activities.
- Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and physical hardware replacements on-site in Montreal when required.
- Maintain accurate ticketing logs adhering to ITIL standards.

Shift & Schedule

- Shift: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (10-Hour Shift)
- Break Structure: 1 Hour Total (15 mins / 30 mins / 15 mins)

Qualifications & Requirements

- Proven experience in Trade Floor Support, Desktop Support, or IT Operations (financial sector experience strongly preferred).
- Robust knowledge of Windows, Linux, TCP/IP networking, Active Directory, O365, and ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with trading floor ecosystems, market data tools (Bloomberg/Reuters), and OMS/EMS platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting, crisis management, and rapid decision-making skills.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell/Python) is an asset.
- Bilingualism (English / French) is strongly preferred for Montreal.
