We are currently seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic to join our team at a busy pallet manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing company trailers and related equipment to ensure they remain safe and operational.

Location: Milton

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers.

- Inspect trailers to identify mechanical, electrical, and safety issues.

- Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, tires, lights, axles, and other trailer components.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems.

- Perform welding and fabrication repairs as required.

- Complete regular safety inspections and maintenance checks.

- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.

- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace safety standards.

- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic is required.

- Valid trade certification/licence or appropriate mechanical qualification is an asset/required, depending on provincial requirements.

- Robust knowledge of trailer mechanical systems, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.

- Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.

- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues independently.

- Must have your own basic mechanic tools.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Ability to lift and handle heavy parts and equipment.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
