Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 40 hours per week Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: No experience (will train) Tasks Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Driver''s License (Class 1 or A) Driver''s License (Class 3 or D) Transportation/travel experience International Local Long-haul Provincial/territorial Security and safety Valid passport Basic security clearance Driver''s validity licence check Driving record check (abstract)
