Job Summary Our client, a leading food processing company, is seeking Facilities and Sanitation Workers for their production facility in Vernon, CA.

This entry-level role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and USDA/SQF-compliant meat and seafood processing environment.

Location: Vernon, CA (5925 S Alcoa Ave, Vernon, CA 90058) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 PM 4:30 AM (40 hours/week) Contract Duration: Ongoing contract position, approximately 3,192 total hours Travel: No travel required Key Responsibilities - Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and floors using high-pressure hoses and approved chemicals - Ensure compliance with USDA and SQF food safety standards - Conduct environmental monitoring including temperature and cleanliness checks - Perform waste management duties: removal, sorting,



and disposal - Complete sanitation documentation and checklists accurately - Operate cleaning equipment and perform heavy lifting as needed - Work effectively in cold and wet conditions Required Qualifications - Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks - Willingness to work overnight shifts in cold, wet environments - Basic understanding of sanitation and safety procedures - Strong attention to detail for documentation and compliance tasks - Reliable attendance and ability to work independently or in a team Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience in food processing, sanitation, or facilities maintenance - Familiarity with USDA and SQF food safety standards - Experience using high-pressure cleaning equipment About the Role This position plays a critical role in supporting food safety and operational cleanliness within a quick-paced processing facility.
