Execute manual and automated test cases, documenting results and evidence; Identify, track, and resolve defects through retesting and validation of end-to-end workflows and integrations; Prepare and support testing activities by managing test data and validating test environments for readiness; Review business requirements and ensuring they are clear, testable, and well understood; Develop and review test plans, scenarios, and test cases, ensuring adequate coverage; Coordinate QA team activities and assigning work based on priority, capacity, and urgency; Monitor daily testing progress and ensuring timely execution and completion of activities; Actias the primary QA contact for defect management, coordinating triage, tracking, and resolution across teams; Support and improve QA processes, standards, and testing practices, identifying risks and escalating issues early; Analyze test results and metrics, preparing test and status reports, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes; What you must have: 5+ years of experience; Experience using test management tools (i.e.

Jira, Team Foundation Server or similar) and automated testing tools; Experience in highly regulated industry,



financial services or insurance is an asset; Post secondary education in a related field; ISTQB Certification or working towards is an asset; Guidewire certification is an asset; Strong organizational and time management skills; Demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Demonstrated understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC); Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, curious mindset; Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; Strong attention to detail; Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment; Strong balance of hands-on testing and team coordination; Ability to lead testing activities while actively executing assigned test cases and ensuring timely delivery.
