In this position, you will play a crucial role as part of a dedicated team managing medical equipment at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Responsibilities include commissioning, maintaining, and repairing diverse medical devices while ensuring their safety and functionality. Additionally, you'll participate in a comprehensive training program to advance your competencies in medical technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commission new medical devices and ensure safety compliance
• Perform scheduled maintenance and quality assurance testing
• Diagnose faults and repair medical equipment effectively
• Decommission devices following established procedures
• Conduct electrical safety tests to meet regulations
Requirements:
• Knowledge in Engineering or Technology to SCQF Level 9
• Experience with the service and repair of medical devices
• Understanding of clinical and engineering principles
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in English language required
