We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Events Specialist to join our fast-growing team and help drive the continued growth of our financial planning business.

Our website: Title: Marketing & Event Specialist Duties and Responsibilities: 1) Seminar Coordination Coordinate seminar logistics and attendee registrations, ensuring smooth execution of both in-person and virtual events.
Approximately 15 seminars per year.
Create Zoom webinars and maintain seminar records in the Elite system.
Prepare seminar reports and analytics in collaboration with the CRM Administrator to measure attendance, conversions, and campaign effectiveness.
Continuously improving seminar processes, client prospecting strategies, and operational efficiency.
Assist with answering seminar inquiries and contacting clients regarding seminar registrations.
Assign new prospective clients to Financial Advisors for approval by the President.
Prepare, organize,
and maintain seminar materials, including presentations, publications, promotional items, corporate gifts, and other marketing collateral.
Research and propose relevant seminar topics in collaboration with Financial Advisors.
Promote in-person seminars in Vancouver, Toronto, and other Canadian cities through various marketing channels to maximize attendance. 2) Marketing Support Liaise with external marketing vendors, advertising agencies (e.g. radio), charitable organizations, and other service providers to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor marketing campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Develop engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, short-form videos, reels, stories, and promotional campaigns.
Expected 3 posts per week.
Extract and edit short-form content from existing seminar videos to create engaging reels and other digital marketing assets.
Manage email marketing campaigns through the CRM platform, including seminar invitations, newsletters, and client communications.
Promote the company''s brand across social media platforms and develop campaigns that drive audience engagement and increase registrations for offline seminars.
Coordinate digital advertising campaigns to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.
Carrying out ad-hoc duties as required 3) Gift Management & Event Organization Strengthen client relationships through corporate gifts, birthday greetings,
appreciation initiatives, and other engagement activities.
Manage inventory of corporate gifts and promotional items.
Coordinate the preparation and delivery of gifts to clients.
Plan and maintain the annual calendar for client gifting and event invitations.
Coordinate and execute corporate events, including staff appreciation events, Christmas parties, team-building activities, client appreciation events, and other company functions, with support from the team.
Qualifications: Degree in business or communications is preferred.
Minimum of two years of related experience in marketing.
Experience working in a similar role within a marketing team in a similar organization Demonstrated experience in design and graphics production; proficiency with Adobe Creative software, Hootsuite, Word
Press, Google AdWords and more is an asset.
Good understanding of social media and in-tune with social trends with the ability to capitalize on those opportunities Prior experience using social media for branding and marketing a plus Ability to interact professionally with stakeholders and external vendors.
Excellent attention to detail.
Experience managing/coordinating traditional and digital markets assets and website content.
Strong project management and prioritization skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal communication and copy writing skills in Cantonese (Traditional Chinese) and English Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $55,000-$68,000 per year subject to working experiences Benefits subject to years of service: Group extended health & dental benefit plan Group life insurance Group retirement savings plan matching Critical illness insurance Course subsidy program Schedule: 9:30am 5:30pm, with one-hour unpaid break.
