Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (Medical-Surgical)
Employer: Neugen Medical Inc. (Partnering with Nova Scotia Health Authority)
Location: Various Locations in Nova Scotia, Canada (Primarily Rural Areas)
Job Type: Independent Contractor (Travel Nursing), Minimum 4-12 week assignments.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in your area of specialty under the supervision of an RN.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans under the supervision of an RN.
- Administer medications, treatments,
and interventions as per clinical protocols & scope of practice.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Adhere to all Neugen Medical Inc. and NSHA policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Active registration and good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory for all positions).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an asset.
- Minimum of two (2) years of recent, full-time Canadian nursing experience in medical surgical unit.
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments.
- Willingness to work in rural settings and commit to a minimum 4-12 week contract.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
- Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and quality care.
