In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of the Manager or designate, the Medical Laboratory Technologist performs technical work involved in the duties associated with laboratory test procedures. In addition, the Medical Laboratory Technologist evaluates and verifies results and prepares related reports.

Relevant Fields of Practice needed for this position are: Clinical Chemistry, Hematology and Transfusion Medicine (Science)



OR Clinical Microbiology and Histology OR all fields of practice. Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00, 08:00 to 12:00, 08:00 to 16:00, 08:00 to 20:00, rotating.

This position uses a self-scheduling model. Position to work in various rural sites, not specific to any one community setting or acute location with paid travel times of 4, 8 or 12 hours.

This is a travel position. Hours of work will vary depending on site and days of work will vary due to self scheduling.
