Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Be the go-to leader for your planting crew
- Keep operations running smoothly and safely
- Support planters with logistics, morale, and problem-solving
- Take pride in the success of your team and the trees you help plant
As a Crew Leader, you’ll play a key role in the success of our tree planting operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading a crew of 10–14 tree planters with energy, focus, and accountability
- Promoting and enforcing safety standards to ensure a safe work environment at all times
- Maintaining high planting quality through regular coaching and follow-up with planters
- Managing daily job site operations, including logistics, troubleshooting, and crew coordination
- Driving productivity by motivating your team to meet or exceed daily production targets
Qualifications
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
- A clean driver’s abstract – you’ll be trusted to operate crew vehicles safely
- The ability to obtain a class 4 license (optional)
- Tree planting experience – a strong asset, but not a deal-breaker
- The ability to keep up in a fast-paced, physically demanding workplace
- A willingness to work hard outdoors in all conditions—rain or shine
- A self-starting attitude with the drive to motivate and lead your team
- Strong leadership skills – you know how to guide, support, and inspire others
