We are looking for a Temporary Semi-Truck Driver to join our fast-paced, energetic company working from our Swift Current, SK location. This Full-Time Temp position is to fill a need for the next 2-3 months, with potential for permanent employment after the term, for the right candidate, and based on business needs.

Our Truck

Drivers provide exceptional customer service through the transportation of equipment for the dealership (within Canada and the USA). In one of Canada’s top John Deere dealer organizations you will deliver quality work in a friendly and collaborative environment that encourages learning and growth. Responsibilities

Transport over-weight and over-dimensional equipment loads to/from customers and/or between dealerships

Support Sales Department with equipment deliveries as needed

Maintain accurate records and up to date certifications and permits

Meet operating standards, required inspections, and codes for commercial vehicle transport

Keep assigned truck and related equipment in valuable condition and monitor performance and mechanical fitness of vehicle

Provide basic operating directions to customers as needed

Ensure self and others follow all safety regulations and requirements





Build and maintain positive co-worker relations

Requirements

5+ years of experience hauling equipment, and truck/trailer repair/maintenance

Knowledgeable of overweight/over dimensional hauls and use of RGN trailers

Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions

Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device, and operation of ag equipment would be considered an asset

Clean drivers abstract in the last 3 years

Grade 12 or equivalent

Valid 1A Drivers License, and ability to drive within Canada and USA

Must be able to work extended shifts away from home location 2 to 3 days as required
