Your future role: Take on a recent challenge and leverage your deep technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You will work with passionate, collaborative, and innovative teams, playing a key role as the primary technical authority (Subject Matter Expert) within your area of specialization.
On a daily basis, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, and customer support. You will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance, validating complex solutions, and ensuring effective knowledge sharing across the organization.
You will contribute actively to solving critical issues, improving system performance, and supporting strategic technical decision-making. We’ll look to you for: Acting as the primary technical authority in your domain of expertise
Providing in-depth technical analysis and recommending appropriate solutions
Supporting project teams in the definition, validation, and implementation of technical solutions
Ensuring compliance with technical standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Leading or supporting the resolution of complex technical issues, particularly during operation and maintenance phases
Contributing to obsolescence management and proposing sustainable alternatives
Developing, maintaining, and improving technical documentation, standards, and best practices
Delivering knowledge transfer through training, coaching, and technical support
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs
Driving innovation by proposing technical and digital improvements (e.g., predictive maintenance, lifecycle cost optimization)
Identifying technical risks and defining mitigation strategies Your profile
We value passion and attitude as much as experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, here are some of the ones that will help you succeed and grow in this role: Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field
Significant experience (typically 5+ years) in a specialized technical role
Deep expertise in a specific domain (e.g., rail systems, signaling, traction, infrastructure, or similar)
Strong understanding of industrial processes, maintenance, and operations
Experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement Skills & Competencies Strong technical acumen and ability to interpret engineering documentation
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts
Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Solution-oriented and innovative mindset
High level of autonomy and accountability
Proficiency with relevant technical and digital tools (ERP systems, engineering tools, etc.)
