Your Students. Your Rate. The Curriculum Is Already Built.
What is Skolvio?
Skolvio gives tutors a complete, standards-aligned curriculum for Grades 4–8 in Math, English, and Science — built to the Ontario curriculum in Canada, and to Common Core and NGSS across 20 U.S. states and Washington D.C. Every lesson is already written, sequenced, and matched to the grade your student is actually in, so you never have to build a program from scratch, dig through curriculum documents, or guess what comes next.
You also get unlimited free printable worksheets — ready in about a minute for any student you teach, whether or not they use Skolvio. And for the students who do, you get concept mastery: instead of "83% on the quiz," you see that equivalent fractions are solid and multi-step word problems aren't, so you walk into every session already knowing what to work on.
Tutoring with Skolvio is an alternative to working for a tutoring agency or a learning centre. You keep the students you teach, you set your own rate, and families pay you directly — we never take a cut and never touch your billing. Skolvio is not a placement agency and we don't assign students to you, but we do help you win your own: you get a professional public tutor page to share, and parents who land on it send an inquiry straight to your inbox.
You bring the students you already teach, and we handle the curriculum, the between-session practice, and the parent reports (gig, part-time, full-time, seasonal, or evenings and weekends).
About the pay range shown:
Skolvio does not employ or pay tutors. You set your own hourly rate and are paid directly by the families you teach — the range shown reflects what independent tutors typically charge for Grades 4–8 in Ontario & USA, not a wage we pay. Skolvio takes no commission and is free for tutors to use.
Why Tutor With Skolvio?
The curriculum is done for you: a full Grades 4–8 program in Math, English, and Science — every lesson written and sequenced, with worked examples,
so you walk into a session knowing exactly what you're teaching.
No lesson planning, no worksheet hunting: practice sets that generate and grade themselves, unit and final exams already written, and printable worksheets for any lesson or unit.
Never wonder "what should we work on next?": Skolvio shows you where each student is strong or stuck, concept by concept, and tells you what to assign next.
Market yourself without building a website: you get your own public tutor page — photo, bio, subjects, and the grades you teach — ready to share on Instagram, WhatsApp, a community board, or a flyer. Parents who land on it send an inquiry straight to your inbox.
Your work markets itself: your name and logo go on every worksheet and parent report you send home, so the families you already teach can see exactly who to recommend.
Keep 100% of what families pay you: no commission, no per-hour cut, no revenue share, ever.
Free, always: no subscription, no setup fee, no credit card, and no minimum number of students.
You are your own boss: you decide who you teach, when you teach, and what you charge.
Send parents a progress report with your name on it, built from real data instead of written at 11pm on a Sunday.
No billing to chase: parents subscribe to Skolvio directly and you never see their payment details.
Signing up only takes a few minutes: create your account, add your students, and assign your first lesson before your next session.

Additional Information:
If you have previous experience tutoring or teaching (such as private tutor, math tutor, English tutor, science tutor, reading tutor, homework helper, online tutor, in-home tutor, academic coach, learning centre instructor, elementary teacher, occasional teacher, supply teacher, substitute teacher, retired teacher, teacher candidate, teaching assistant, educational assistant, ECE, early childhood educator, ESL instructor, camp instructor, education student, math or science undergraduate) you might also consider tutoring with Skolvio. We also welcome tutors who have found students through other tutoring platforms, classifieds, or word of mouth. You do not need to bring your own curriculum or lesson plans; that is the part we do. Tutoring with Skolvio is a great way to supplement your part time or full-time income.

Why we built Skolvio:
Most kids are taught to the middle of a class and moved on when the calendar says so, not when they've actually understood it — and the gaps that opens up follow them for years.
Skolvio is redefining that: every child works at their own pace, gets checked at every step, and doesn't move on until they've got it. Nothing is hidden behind a percentage — you and the parent can see, concept by concept, exactly what a child knows and what they don't. Tutors are what make it work. We handle the curriculum, the practice, and the tracking; you do the part no software can, which is knowing the child in front of you.
Pay: $18.16-$200.00 per hour
