Adecco is currently hiring a Buyer for a full-time temporary opportunity in Vancouver, BC.

This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented professional with experience or exposure to procurement, purchasing, and supplier coordination.

In this position, you will support day-to-day procurement activities, including purchase order processing, supplier coordination, invoice resolution, and inventory monitoring to help ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Salary: $25.00 per hour Location: Vancouver, BC (On-site) Schedule: Monday to Friday | Flexible hours between 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM | 30-minute lunch Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary Contract Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities Assist with processing purchase orders and ensuring purchasing documentation is completed accurately.

Obtain quotes from suppliers to support procurement decisions.

Coordinate with suppliers to help ensure materials and services are delivered on time.

Support supplier evaluations and maintain accurate procurement and supplier records.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in identifying purchasing and procurement needs.

Address and resolve supplier invoice issues to support accurate and timely payments.

Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve purchasing and invoice discrepancies.

Support efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Maintain organized and accurate purchasing documentation.

Follow established procurement processes and supplier management procedures.





Provide additional procurement and purchasing support as required.

Qualifications Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada. 1-2 years of experience or previous exposure to procurement or purchasing activities.

Experience with invoice and accounting resolution.

Basic understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.

Familiarity with procurement software or purchasing tools. SAP experience is considered an asset.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Bachelor''s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is considered an asset.

Eagerness to learn and further develop procurement skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
