Job Description Mailroom Clerk Play an important role in supporting document preparation, mail operations, and administrative processes within a dynamic workplace.

This prospect offers a variety of responsibilities that contribute to smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.

What is in it for you: Hourly salary of $17.95. 5-month contract.

Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.

Weekday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities: Perform data entry, listing, and document preparation activities.

Receive, sort, process, and distribute mail documents, packages, and supplies.

Prepare mail and packages for shipment using postal, courier, freight, and express delivery services.

Operate colour production printers and mailroom equipment, including inserters, sorters, and finishing equipment.

Record and process accountable mail information, maintain logs, and verify records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Support shipping and receiving activities using automated tracking systems and arrange courier services as required.

Determine packaging requirements according to established standards and perform fulfillment activities, including assembly, packaging, and kitting.

Perform quality checks on outbound mail and complete charge-back reporting activities.

Complete mail labeling, mail merge, and electronic mail distribution activities.





Deliver and collect mail on scheduled runs while tracking, tracing, and resolving mail-related issues.

Monitor, order, and replenish supplies inventory.

Follow mailroom security procedures and recommend improvements to optimize workflow.

What you will need to succeed: Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 6 months to 1 year of experience in a professional working environment.

Experience in a client-facing environment.

Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.

Ability to operate digital and colour print equipment.

Ability to operate mailroom, finishing, and related production equipment.

Ability to remain on your feet for approximately 80% of the workday.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Valid driver''s license.

Required soft skills Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and responsibilities.
