Royal Inland Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Staffing Services Scheduling Clerk to join their team in Kamloops, B.C! This position works rotating days, evenings 05:00 to 14:00, 14:00 to 23:00, 07:30 to 16:00, 09:00 to 18:00.

Work hours range from 0 to 37.5 per week, with shifts available on short notice or pre-scheduled to cover leaves.

What Will You Work On? In this role you will work in a customer-focused, team-oriented framework performing staffing, scheduling and payroll clerical functions in a fully automated system.

Some typical duties will include:



Receives and processes requests for vacancy coverage to ensure staff compliment baselines are met; Allocates and calls in relief staff to fill vacancies; Receives and processes on-staff, payroll removal notices and change notices; Reviews and audits timekeeping records; Reviewing, calculating and editing on call and call back hours; Data entry; Reception and clerical duties.

What should your application include? A 5-minute typing test (35+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted). for testing details.

Your Resume outlining three years recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience; A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).
